There will be individual lessons and group classes available for students age 7 and up. Iwona Drejer, a graduate of the College of Music & Acting Music Theatre of Gdynia, Poland, is a Polish actress, singer, and acting coach. Her stage experience includes roles in such great musicals as West Side Story, Chicago, and Jesus Christ Superstar. Sioux Falls audiences have seen her in the Sioux Empire Community Theatre production, "Sweeney Todd”. As well as acting on stage, Iwona has taught children and adults since 2006, introducing them to acting fundamentals in a fun and engaging way. Iwona came to Sioux Falls 3 years ago and she currently works as a Children's Theatre Director and Music Associate at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church. She will help them open themselves up and use their imagination to build stage characters as well as stage and presentation skills for when they sing a recital at school, perform oral interpretation, or give a lecture.

Musical Theatre Summer Camps are for kids in Grade 2nd through 8th grade and take place at the Edith Mortenson Center located on the Augustana College Campus. Also included as part of your camp fee are: Two tickets to the performance of your choice. Lunches served by the Augustana Cafeteria. One exclusive commemorative t-shirt and daily snacks.
